Another Heavy Vehicle Burns in Front of Gas Station Within 24 Hours

On Tuesday afternoon, a bus caught fire in front of a gas station in La Uruca, and on Wednesday, a truck did the same in front of a gas station on Route 32.

According to the Fire Department records, the emergency occurred at the San Isidro de Heredia intersection, one kilometer towards Limón, in front of the Zurquí service station.

As seen in the video, the truck’s cabin was completely engulfed in flames.

Three Fire Department units were dispatched to handle the emergency.

According to information provided by the Fire Department, it was a public transportation unit.

Bus in Flames

On Tuesday afternoon, a public transportation bus caught fire in front of the gas station located under the Juan Pablo II bridge in La Uruca.

The emergency prompted a large deployment of firefighters, and the Traffic Police had to divert traffic to manage the situation.

In neither case were there any injuries or affected individuals reported.
