Costa Rica will host the 2024 Pan-American Parkour Championships. The event will take place at City Mall in Alajuela on June 15 and 16. It is organized by the Federation of Gymnastics and Related Sports and is endorsed by the Pan-American Gymnastics Union.
The tournament is open to the public and will gather the best athletes in the region for this discipline.
Additionally, Brick company will donate essential equipment for the competition circuit. On June 18 and 19, the Brick Centro and Caribbean tour will be held at the same venue, offering free workshops conducted by some of the world’s most renowned trainers.
This is the first time Costa Rica will host an event of this magnitude in the field of parkour, providing an opportunity to enjoy and learn about the sport.

What is parkour?
Parkour is a physical discipline and training method focused on moving from point A to point B in the most efficient and simple way possible.
This practice includes jumping, climbing, running, rolling, swinging, moving on all fours, and any other movement the situation requires.
Practitioners need a combination of strength, speed, agility, coordination, control, and a lot of creativity.
