The National Meteorological Institute of Costa Rica (IMN) has confirmed that Cold Surge #6 has moved away to the east of the territory, but the trade winds continue to be moderate to strong in the Caribbean Sea, causing windy conditions in the national territory.
For this Friday, the moisture content has decreased.
During the morning, partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies are expected with scattered rains in the Caribbean and Northern Zone.
In the rest of the country, conditions will range from a little cloudiness to partial cloudiness.
During the afternoon, little cloudiness to partial cloudiness is expected throughout the country.
For the night, it is expected that the moisture content will increase slightly, leading to partly to mostly cloudy skies with the possibility of scattered drizzles in the mountains, to the east and north of the Central Valley, as well as scattered rains in the Caribbean and Northern Zone.
Occasional gusts of wind are forecasted during the day in the Central Valley and North Pacific.
