From now on, the process to obtain the circulation card needed to take a vehicle out of the country can be done at any of the 104 branches of Correos de Costa Rica.
This expansion of the inter-institutional agreement with the National Registry streamlines the process for registered vehicle owners, who can obtain the document immediately for a cost of ¢12,265 + VAT.
To carry out the process, the registered owner of the vehicle only needs to go to any branch of Correos de Costa Rica with their valid and well-maintained identity document, complete the form provided at the counter, and pay the processing fee.
Once completed, they will receive the official certification, which is valid for 180 days from its issuance.
This new service adds to the more than 15 offered through the inter-institutional agreement between Correos de Costa Rica and the National Registry.
