The closure will take place for the assembly of beams at the height of Vista Alegre, in the district of Arraiján, as announced by the Panama Metro, with operations occurring at night.
The public transportation company, Panama Metro, notifies that there will be closures during this weekend on Friday 29th, Saturday 30th, and also Monday, October 2nd. The closures will take place in two phases on the Pan-American Highway at the height of Vista Alegre, located in the district of Arraiján, province of Panama Oeste.
The first phase of the closure will affect a segment of lanes leading towards Panama Centro from Calle B Sur to Mystic Bar. Consequently, the lanes of the Pan-American Highway leading to La Chorrera will be reversed from City Plaza to Puma Station, allowing users to have one lane directed West and another towards Panama Centro. This closure will be maintained from 8:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.
In the second phase, a segment of the four lanes of the Pan-American Highway will remain closed from 9:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., stretching from the Super Xtra supermarket to Vista Alegre station, corresponding to Line 3 of the Metro.
The transportation company reminds users who wish to use this route to make the necessary detours and head towards the Arraiján-La Chorrera highway.
