According to the Imhpa, isolated showers will occur in the rest of Panama.
The Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology of Panama (Imhpa) warned on Monday, May 27, that the first tropical wave of the season is expected to enter the country during the night.
As a result, heavy downpours and thunderstorms are expected in the provinces of Chiriquí, Veraguas, and the Azuero Peninsula.
These weather conditions are also expected in the provinces of Coclé, Panama, and Panama Oeste starting Monday night.
In the rest of Panama, isolated showers will be recorded.
Imhpa forecaster María Cosme detailed that the tropical wave is located to the east of the Republic of Colombia and is moving at a speed of between 18 and 27 kilometers per hour.
