The National Institute of Aqueducts and Sewers (IDAAN) announces that on the upcoming Friday, September 29, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the water treatment plant in the city of David, province of Chiriquí, will operate at 60% of its daily productivity due to maintenance work.
IDAAN urges those affected to take appropriate measures to prevent water shortages.
The maintenance will partially affect the service in the higher and remote areas of the network in the districts of David, David Este, Las Lomas, Pedregal, David Sur; parts of San Carlos; and the housing developments of Aqualina and Villa Patricia in San Pedro Viejo, within the district of David.
According to IDAAN, once the tasks are completed, the operational staff will continue with the opening of hydrants and purging of lines to achieve system recovery, a process expected to take no less than 72 hours.
For reports or inquiries related to the drinking water supply, users can contact through the Citizen Service Center, by dialing 311 or following IDAAN’s social media accounts.
